Meditation at The Yoga Way

Although our approach to yoga is in itself very meditative, we also offer a series that focuses solely on meditation. Using ancient meditation techniques we'll explore the purpose and benefits. We will create the internal environment required to bring the mind to stillness and cultivate the abilities of focus and concentration ... despite the mind's resistance. In this way we may begin to entrain and tame the mind.

Although meditation is often used as a deep relaxation technique, we are utilizing it for its original purpose: to make conscious contact with the most subtle parts of our being to nurture the seeds of our evolution.
