Although our approach to yoga is in itself very meditative, we do have a 6-week series that focuses solely on meditation. The specific style of meditation is called Yoga Nidra. It is an experiential program using this ancient meditation technique where consciousness enters the state between waking and sleeping, but is subject to neither.
Although yoga nidra is often used as a deep relaxation technique, we are utilizing it for its original purpose: to make conscious contact with the most subtle parts of our being to nurture the seeds of our evolution.
The course will include meditation, breath work, mantra chanting, discourse and sharing. Participants will learn how to set intention for positive changes in their lives, break self-defeating habits and erase old karmic patterns.
